the story behind the salon
Owner Kara Roberson started out in a lofty salon she opened in downtown San Diego, where she and manager Sophie Stephens then took the next step to grow and rebrand in a cool, speakeasy style salon in the East Village.
HeadBang is the newest and most exciting iteration of the salons that have been providing a high quality, personal hair experience for eight years, with a long future of great hair to come!
We are located in a quiet neighborhood just off of North Park,
where you can find our salon on the corner, Grab a coffee next door at Santos Coffeehouse,
and step into our bright, modern + edgy space that invites you to come hang out with us,
chat with friends and get those hair goals met!
